Shrek the Musical Jr Auditions

Video submissions only, due by end of day March 21
Auditions
This production of Shrek the Musical is a “Jr” production, with an age range of 8 to 18 years of age.
Please record your video submission in horizontal orientation:

slate your name, age, and song you are singing

perform 32 bars (no more than a minute) of a musical theatre song of your choice
Download and complete Audition Form and Conflict Calendar. LINKS BELOW
Send your video to "stagemanager@mtoc.org” along with a completed audition form and conflict calendar
(no later than end of day, Sunday March 21st).
We will let you know via email if you are invited to the live callbacks.
Callbacks

Callbacks are by invitation ONLY, and will take place on Sunday, March 28th at 1:00pm at MTOC Studio in Placentia.

If you are invited to callbacks, a parent/guardian must bring you to complete more paperwork.

The cast list will be posted by end of day March 29th.

If you are cast in the show, there will be a mandatory cast/parent meeting and read through April 5th.

If you are cast in the show, tuition of $575 per cast member is due at the cast/parent meeting.
Rehearsals and Performances
Rehearsals are from April 5th through June 19th. Rehearsals will be held on Mondays and Tuesdays from 6:30-9:30pm and Saturdays from 9:00am - 3:00pm. Not all cast members are called to every rehearsal.
Tech Week: June 21 – 24
Performances: June 25, 26, 27, July 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11

- Callbacks are by invitation ONLY. You will be notified via email, one way or the other if you are invited to callbacks. If you are requested for callbacks, you must respond that you will attend.
- If you are cast in the show, there will be a mandatory cast/parent meeting the evening of April 5th
