Narrator - Hip, Energetic Storyteller; on stage most of show; some movement required Soprano, Low B to High G
Joseph - The "favorite" son; 2nd youngest; handsome, kind and honest; blessed with the ability to interpret dreams; dancing ability a plus Tenor, Low B to F
Reuben - Oldest brother; 'Canaan Days' Solo (French accent); Must be able to move Baritone, Low C to D
Levi - Brother; 'One More Angel in Heaven' Solo (Western) Must be able to move Baritone
Judah - Brother; 'Benjamin's Calypso' Solo; Must be able to move Tenor
Benjamin - Youngest Brother; Innocent and Naïve; Strong dancing ability Open
Brothers - Simeon, Napthali, Isaachar, Asher, Dan, Zebulun, Gad - All on stage most of show; must be able to move Open Male dancers will be cast from these roles
Jacob - Father of Joseph and all his brothers; This role may be cast age appropriate Baritone, Low B to B
Pharaoh - King of Egypt, Elvis-style, This person may also be cast as a brother, Must be able to move Baritone
Potiphar - Rich Egyptian Captain, This person may also be cast as a brother Baritone, Low D to B
Potiphar's Wife - Seductive wife, Strong dancing a must Alto, Low B to A
Baker - Jailed Baker who has Joseph interpret his dreams, This person may also be cast as a brother Tenor, F to High G
Butler - Jailed Butler who has Joseph interpret his dreams, This person may also be cast as a brother Tenor, F to High G
Featured Dancers - This will include Wives, Go Go Dancers, Egyptian women and various other featured roles
Ensemble - Guards, Ismaelites, Peasants and various roles.
Chorus - to be featured various times throughout the show; must sing, discipline on stage is a must.
