As co-founder and President of Musical Theatre Orange County, Mitch is realizing a vision of instilling a love for live theatre into the youth of our community.
Mitch has been with the Disneyland Resort for over 19 years, the last 8 as a Technical Director with Entertainment, on such diverse projects as Haunted Mansion Holiday, Eureka Parade, Fantasmic! The Electrical Parade and Parade of Dreams. He also recently did a stint as Producer for the Year of a Million Dreams Décor effort, and is just settling in to his new role as Sr. Technical Director for Parades and Overlays.
Prior to, and during this time Mitch has also continued to nurture his love for theatre with his outside role as Technical Director with various community theatre’s including lighting design duties for over 50 productions.
Mitch’s theatre experience goes back to Junior High School where he began working in technical theatre. He has since tried his hand at acting a few times as well.
Mitch and his wife Lori are both natives of Orange County, California and have raised their four children in the city of Orange, where Mitch has been involved in such activities as coaching and managing their sons Little League teams. |
Lori Atkins - Vice
President

Lori
is co-founder and acting Producer of
Musical Theatre Orange County.
Lori
has organized and produced talent shows,
and has been involved in various
community theatres in many capacities
for the past twelve years. She has also
enjoyed a bit of acting herself, with
her favorite roles including Aunt Tilly
(“It’s a Wonderful Life”), and
Ethel Toffelmier (“The Music Man”).
She
has been successful in many
entrepreneurial endeavors, such as
owning her own Collectibles Business,
event coordinating and several years as
a licensed Cosmetologist.
Lori
has worked for Jazzercise for the past
seven years as a customer service
representative.
She
feels very fortunate to have the
opportunity to be an at-home mom and
raising her four children. This has
opened up many avenues for volunteer
work in various organizations including
stints as room mom as well as team mom
for her children’s baseball teams. |
Bryn Horner - General Manager

Bryn joined the
Musical Theatre Orange County board in January 2007, but has been involved with
MTOC in various roles since the 2004 production of Wizard of Oz. Bryn’s
involvement in theatre dates back to his college days at Chapman University
where he studied film and television production and produced several student films
while pursuing a B.A. in Communications. He became actively involved in Chapman’s
vibrant theatre department, working on many outstanding productions in a host of
technical capacities. Although most of his work is done behind the scenes, he has
taken the stage on a few rare occasions.
Bryn is
thrilled to be working in the theatrical arena once again and is eager to
promote MTOC, its goals and ideals of bringing together Orange County’s
finest performers and professionals with its wealth of youthful, aspiring talent.
For the past 20
years, Bryn has enjoyed a successful career as an IT professional and currently
provides services to clients nationwide. He resides in Tustin with his wife,
choreographer Allison Horner, and their three daughters.

Caitlin Guyan
- Resident Lighting Designer
Caitlin is pleased to continue her relationship with MTOC, having previously designed the lighting for The Wizard of Oz, Guys and Dolls, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat. In her day job at Disneyland, Caitlin works with the Entertainment Division and is involved with lighting design and maintenance for various shows and parades.
She has also been the lighting designer for Jack and the Beanstalk for the Nine O’Clock Players as well as Mary, Mary, Orphans, and Lend Me a Tenor for the Vanguard Theatre Ensemble. Caitlin received her MFA in Lighting Design from UC Irvine, where she and her husband, Ben, first met. When not traveling the world, they live in Placentia with their three furry children.
