Rebecca Lumianski
Instructor: Improv & Acting

Rebecca Lumianski is an actress, writer, director and fun-seeker who has been hopelessly devoted to show business for over 25 years. She consults as a writer and director with the Walt Disney Company, Knott’s Berry Farm, Royal Caribbean and others, creating live events, videos, and interactive experiences for audiences. For over 10 years Rebecca has been teaching acting and improv with the Disney Performing Arts program and is also a guest teaching artist with the ABC Television Diversity Showcase. This year, Rebecca was proud to co-produce and co-star in her first television pilot, Season and Renee, which will be polished and ready to sell this fall. Rebecca is fueled by coffee, cheeseburgers and watching young artists BLOOM!

Britany Callahan
Instructor: Musical Theatre Showcase, Acting, Private Voice, Piano, and Acting Lessons

Britany has filled many roles in her over 20 years of being involved with live theatre including stage manager, vocal director, scenic painter, make-up designer, and assistant costumer. Her most recent endeavor was directing MTOC's summer production of The Little Mermaid. As a performer, some of her favorite roles include Tracy (Hairspray), Annie Oakley (Annie Get Your Gun) and Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz). Britany is a graduate of Chapman University with a B.A. in Theatre Technology. She worked at the The Disneyland Resort for 8 years in Stage Management, calling shows such as Aladdin, World of Color, Red Car News Boys, Mad T Party, and Disney Junior. In her time there, she also worked on numerous large and small scale events. She now freelances as a stage manager, vocal director and piano teacher. Britany and her sister Kristin have also teamed up to vocal direct both Mary Poppins and Beauty & The Beast. Britany grew up surrounded by music, constantly playing the piano and singing with her siblings. She hopes to instill the same love of music and theatre in students and looks forward to watching them grow through this Fall session.

Kristin Atkins
Instructor: “Musical Theatre Showcase”, “A Capella Group”, and Private Voice and Piano Lessons

Kristin graduated from Vanguard University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Music in Education and minor in Religion. Her time at Vanguard had supplied her with a wealth of information and opportunities, and was honored to be accepted and graduate as one of the first in their B.M. degree. As a part of the Vanguard Women’s Choir, Kristin toured throughout Northern California, Oregon, Washington, Nevada and Arizona performing at numerous venues. She has also had the privilege of singing at Segerstrom Center for Performing Arts several times, and the Lincoln Center in New York. Upon graduating Kristin was extremely grateful to receive the “Outstanding Music Education Award”, and graduated with honors. Recently she helped with the conception of Eastside Christian Church’s “Journey to Christmas” where she also played the role of Mary. She would love to thank all of the amazing teachers in her life that have poured their heart and soul into their jobs and have taught her so much more than simply notes on a page. Music is a way of living and I hope to inspire my students the way that I have been inspired by my teachers. She has taught private vocal and piano lessons for over five years, and has also been in over thirty productions. Some of her favorite roles include Gertrude McFuzz (Seussical The Musical), Dorothy (The Wizard of Oz), and Diane (Anne of Green Gables).

Art Vega
Instructor for: Basics of Puppetry and Intermediate Puppetry

Art has over 13 years of puppetry experience, both in teaching and performance working for the Walt Disney Company. He has performed in numerous shows at the Disneyland Resort, the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, and has lent his talents to the latest Muppets movies (The Muppets and The Muppets Most Wanted) as well as the new Muppets television show. In addition, Art has had the pleasure of working with Ceelo Green on his talk show, Talking To Strangers, as well as performing with Lady Gaga on her Muppet Television Special. Puppetry has also allowed Art the opportunity to spend the last few years touring the United States and Germany with Snigglezoo Entertainment’s Money Mammals. Art continues to perform regularly at the Disneyland Resort.

Danny Montooth
Instructor for: Basics of Puppetry and Intermediate Puppetry

Danny has been a puppeteer for the Walt Disney Company for the last 11 years in various shows and parades throughout the Resort. For the last four years he has been a trainer and supervisor for puppeteer talent at the Resort. One of his favorite “rolls” was portraying “Herman”, the hopeful loaf of bread in a web series for Subway Restaurants. He also performs for Snigglezoo in the Money Mammals touring show. He most recently has appeared in the web series “The Remember Hour,” by Maker Studios as Rash.

Danielle Schaefer
Choreographer: Musical Theatre Showcase Classes

Danielle Schaefer is a singer, dancer, and actress whose been performing for over 10 years. She's been a part of past MTOC shows including Tarzan, Mary Poppins, and The Little Mermaid. Last year, Danielle spent time as a Young American fostering her own talent and love of teaching. This year she will be performing as a scareactor at Knott's Scary Farm. Danielle is very excited to join the MTOC team and share her love of art and live theatre with the next generation.
